What to Expect
From the moment you arrive, BuzzAttack makes you feel like you’ve stepped onto the set of a television game show.
Before the action begins, each member of your group registers and chooses three trivia categories from a huge range of topics. Whether you’re into ’80s pop music, Star Wars, Harry Potter, sport, video games or ’90s movies, the game combines everyone’s selections to create a personalised mix of questions.
It’s a clever feature that gives everyone in your group a chance to shine, regardless of their age or interests.
Once you’re registered, you’ll have time to explore the backstage green room before taking your place behind your podium on the vibrant game show set.
The experience unfolds over five fast-paced rounds, combining customised trivia with a series of interactive arcade-style mini-games that test your speed, coordination and reflexes. Success in these challenges can earn your team a spin on the Wheel of Chance, adding an extra layer of excitement, strategy and a little bit of luck.
Holding it all together is BuzzAttack’s charismatic AI game show host, who keeps the energy high with dramatic lighting, sound effects and plenty of playful banter.

How do the teams work?
BuzzAttack is played in a purpose-built game show studio featuring six podiums, making it ideal for groups of up to six players, with one person at each podium.
If you’re visiting with a larger group, don’t worry—you can simply team up and share a podium.
Playing in pairs works just as well and adds another layer of teamwork as you race to answer questions and tackle the mini-games together.
How long does it take?
A BuzzAttack session runs for approximately 60 – 90 minutes, making it an ideal activity to fit into a day of exploring Brisbane or before dinner and drinks in Fortitude Valley.
It’s worth allowing a little extra time for check-in before your session begins, and you may also want to stay afterwards to take photos and soak up the game show atmosphere.
I’d recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before your session commences.
Accessibility
While service animals are welcome, BuzzAttack is not currently wheelchair accessible.
One thing worth noting is that there are no chairs inside the game studio, so all players are required to stand for the duration of the experience.
The children in our group had no issues, but some of the adults did find it a little tiring on their feet and backs by the end of the game. A few optional stools or chairs for those who need them would be a welcome addition, but for now it’s something to keep in mind if standing for an extended period may be difficult for you.
The experience also features bright flashing lights (although there is no strobe lighting) and may not be suitable for people with visual impairments.
Guests requiring a personal assistant or support worker may be eligible for a complimentary carer ticket by contacting the venue before their visit.
Facilities and Amenities
BuzzAttack is an indoor, air-conditioned venue designed to recreate the atmosphere of a television game show.
On-site amenities include restroom facilities, and a small selection of non-alcoholic drinks is available for purchase before or after your session. While food isn’t available at the venue, you’ll find plenty of cafés, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance in Fortitude Valley.
Photography is encouraged throughout the experience, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture your team’s game show moments. However, the use of flash photography and professional camera equipment is not permitted.
Location
BuzzAttack is located on Level 2 of Fever Hub Brisbane, 123 Gotha Street, Fortitude Valley, just a short distance from Brisbane’s CBD.
If you’re travelling by public transport, Fortitude Valley Station is approximately a 5-minute walk from the venue, with regular train services from across Brisbane. Several bus routes also stop along nearby Wickham Street and Gotha Street, making it easy to reach without a car.
For those driving, limited on-street parking is available on Gotha Street and surrounding streets, although spaces can fill quickly, particularly on weekends and during evening events.
If you prefer off-street parking, there are several public car parks within a short walk, including:
- Valley Metro Car Park
- McWhirters Car Park
- Cathedral Square Car Park
As Fortitude Valley is one of Brisbane’s busiest entertainment precincts, arriving a little early is recommended if you’re planning to drive.
Pricing and Booking Information
Tickets for BuzzAttack range from $30.90 to $42.90 per person. Session prices vary depending on the size of your group and the date and time selected.
Group bookings for 4 to 12 people can be made online, while larger groups of 13 or more can submit an enquiry for a tailored booking.
BuzzAttack is open Wednesday to Sunday with multiple sessions available each day ranging from 10 am to 7 pm.

Age Requirements
BuzzAttack is suitable for a wide range of ages, and there is no minimum age, although participants must be at least 130 cm tall.
Children under 13 years must be accompanied during the game, and anyone under 16 years must have an adult present at the venue.
Who Should Visit?
BuzzAttack is ideal for anyone who enjoys a little friendly competition and is looking for a fun, interactive activity in Brisbane. Our group included both teenagers and adults, and everyone had a fantastic time. In fact, it was one of those rare activities that genuinely appealed across the generations and gave parents something fun to enjoy with their older kids.
During our visit, there was plenty of laughter, a little friendly rivalry and more than a few surprise moments as different team members discovered hidden talents in both the trivia and the mini-games.
It’s an experience particularly well suited to:

Because success isn’t based solely on trivia knowledge, everyone has the opportunity to contribute. Whether you’re the person who knows every ’80s song, can recognise a movie in seconds or has lightning-fast reflexes in the arcade challenges, every player brings something different to the team.
It’s worth noting that we visited on opening night as invited guests, so we experienced a few technical glitches with the game software that occasionally interrupted the flow of play.
As testers rather than paying customers, we were more than happy to go with the flow and provide feedback. These appeared to be typical opening-night teething issues, and hopefully have now been ironed out for future visitors.
